The Vetted Professionals Register exists to make professional trust visible, verifiable, and accountable.
It was created to address a common problem: trust is often implied through marketing, recommendations, or self-claims, but rarely verified in a structured and transparent way.
Purpose and Approach
The Register is not a general directory and does not operate as an open listing platform.
Its purpose is to distinguish clearly between:
- trust and conduct
- legitimate professional standing
- demonstrated professional capability
These elements are assessed separately and displayed transparently, so that no claim is made where evidence does not exist.
Governance and Independence
The Register operates under a defined governance and vetting framework.
It was founded with support from Scientialex Ltd, a UK-based consultancy with experience in compliance systems, auditing, and standards development, which contributed to the initial framework and verification logic.
The Register operates as a distinct and neutral platform, independent of the professionals listed on it.
Transparency
Each professional profile clearly shows:
- which verification areas have been completed
- which endorsements are in place
- whether any element remains pending
This transparency allows informed decision-making and protects the integrity of the Register.
What the Register Is Not
The Vetted Professionals Register is not:
- a regulatory authority
- a licensing body
- a substitute for statutory or legal requirements
Professionals remain responsible for complying with any obligations that apply to their profession.
